Samie Konet lives and works in Cleveland, OH. 

Konet currently works as the Project + Visiting Artist Coordinator for the Reinberger Gallery housed within the Cleveland Institute of Art. Konet organizes the “Lunch on Friday” lecture series, inviting a variety of individuals to present during the Friday lunch period on the issues and subjects of contemporary art. Konet recently co-curated the exhibition, Portals_Thresholds, with Reinberger Gallery Director, Nikki Woods. 

Konet is a graduate of the Cleveland Institute of Art with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Drawing and Printmaking. During her undergraduate career, Konet was a recipient of the Ellen Battell Stoeckel Fellowship, which is awarded to attend the Yale School of Art Summer Intensive Studio Program in 2015.

Konet has recently participated in exhibitions at Morgan Paper Conservatory (Cleveland, OH), Zygote Press (Cleveland, OH), Heights Arts (Cleveland Hts, OH), the University of Buffalo Art Galleries (Buffalo, NY), and Studio Two Three (Richmond, VA).
